Following a successful call for applications for admission and LxBWS grant, we would like to announce that registrations are open for the 1st Edition of the Lisbon Blockchain Winter School (LxBWS) with two deadlines:
– Early fee registration is open until December 20th 2024;
– Late fee registration is open until December 31st 2024.
If you still intend to participate in the LxBWS and have not submitted a prior application, please send a spontaneous application to the email lxbws@tecnico.ulisboa.pt with: 1) a short bio (max. 250 words) and 2) letter of interest (max. 500 words).
The LxBWS, which will take place at IST from 10-14 February 2025, and will provide a comprehensive program with lectures, practical hands-on laboratory sessions, and poster sessions on the latest developments and applications of blockchain technology. The program will also include collaboration and networking events between all the participants of the school.
It offers lectures leading experts from prestigious academic institutions such as Carnegie Mellon, Ciências Lisboa e LASIGE, Técnico Lisboa and INESC-ID, University of Cagliari, University of Bern, MIT and Católica Lisbon, but also from the Blockchain industry ecosystem such as Anchorage Digital, Unlockit, Holywally and Blockchain.PT.
The LxBWS program is designed for Researchers, PhD students, IT professionals and Blockchain enthusiasts.
