The BIG ERA Chair project is at the forefront of promoting and fostering innovative digital technologies within the European landscape. These transformative technologies hold the potential to revolutionise various sectors, including medical data, smart homes, democratic decision-making, and digital social media.
Following up on its goals, BIG is supporting the organisation of a Blockchain course. The “Blockchain, Web3 e Tokenização” training course is a collaborative effort between Católica-Lisbon and Técnico+ that aims to provide a comprehensive, practical understanding of blockchain concepts, smart contracts, and tokens, all while promoting the mission of the BIG project. The training is being coordinated by Professor Miguel Correia (IST), a member of the BIG project research team and coordinator of the National Blockchain Strategy, alongside Paulo Cardoso do Amaral (Católica).
The “Blockchain, Web3 e Tokenização” training course equips participants with knowledge about Distributed Ledger Technology, Web3, fungible and non-fungible tokens, smart contracts, tokenisation and more. This course is designed for professionals across various sectors who are facing the challenges of digital transformation with DLT technologies, such as Blockchain and need to understand the strategic implications.
Interested parties can apply for the course until November 8, 2023, which is set to begin on November 15, 2023. From that date, the course kicks off on a hybrid attendance mode. For more details and applications, visit the course page.
The “Blockchain, Web3 e Tokenização” training course is a prime example of the BIG project’s dedication to advancing knowledge and innovation in the field, ready to embrace the potential of these transformative technologies and contribute to the digital ecosystem’s growth and development.
