The BIG ERA Chair EU-funded project supported the CHI23 workshop on the future of Sustainable Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and its implications for addressing climate change. An article summarising the workshop results was recently published in Interactions Maganize. With the participation of the BIG ERA chair project researchers Nuno Jardim Nunes and Valentina Nisi, this research effort probes innovative approaches to envisioning sustainable futures in the face of environmental challenges.

The research highlights the importance of addressing climate change through a holistic and inclusive approach by advocating for systemic understanding, collective action, and hopeful visions for the future.
