Miguel Pupo Correia, a BIG ERA Chair project team member, recently had a research paper distinguished as the most-read ACM DLT 2023 paper. His paper, “Do You Need a Distributed Ledger Technology Interoperability Solution?” focuses on Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) interoperability solutions.
The paper, which is authored by Rafael Belchior (PhD student at IST and INESC-ID researcher) and co-authored by Miguel Pupo Correia (IST/INESC-ID) together with Luke Riley (Quant Network), Thomas Hardjono (MIT) and André Vasconcelos (IST/INESC-ID), addresses fundamental questions related to the status quo of DLT interoperability, the assessment of interoperability capabilities, and the benefits of interoperating DLTs.
